PuffmaticPrivacy
Puffmatic has no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. The game itself sends nothing to Softleif or to anyone else, and Softleif runs no server it talks to.
On your device
Your best scores, the points you have collected, the level you last picked and your settings are saved on your device, in the game’s own storage. They are not synced or backed up by the game, and deleting the game deletes them.
Game Center
If you are signed in to Game Center, your scores go to Puffmatic’s leaderboards and the levels you open by playing count as achievements. Apple runs Game Center: your scores are shown under your Game Center name, to the players your Game Center settings allow, and handled under Apple’s privacy policy. If you are not signed in, nothing is sent.
Buying “All levels”
The App Store handles the purchase and its payment. The game only learns from the App Store whether you own “All levels”, never who you are or how you paid.
Game controllers
A controller connected by Bluetooth or USB is only used to play. Nothing about it is stored or sent.
On the web, Mac and Linux outside the App Store
The versions on itch.io keep the same things as above: in your browser’s local storage on the web, in a folder of your user account otherwise. They have no Game Center and sell nothing. itch.io hosts the downloads under its own privacy policy.
Children
The game collects nothing from anyone, children included.
